Weblists are like their own little villages or packs of wolves, choose your own analogy. Sometimes it takes a while for the senior members to accept a newer member and then sometimes they will reject a potential member for no reason. Its really kind of interesting to watch if only you (or I) weren't in a hurry to obtain something useful out of the group.

I personally got into a flame war by accident with another list member who is very well versed in Volvolore, but who unfortunately now probably wouldn't send the bandwidth to warn me my hair was on fire. That's how it goes when you can't see the whites of their eyes and people assume traits in others without waiting for understanding.

If you don't hear a response in a day or two, try again. Use the swedishbricks list also, it adds to the number of people who see your question. If all else fails, be patient, sometimes the sharpest people on the list who can answer your question are busy and haven't had a chance to look at the board for a few days.
