inner tie rod lock washer

Hi All,

Replaced my inner and outer tie rods the other day and when it was time to install new inner's I noticed the old lock washer wouldn't work with new tie rod as the housing on new one is slightly larger. I installed new tie rods sans lock washer, is this going to be a problem?
