I wouldn't start without a complete donor car. I'm sure that there would be lots of wiring harnesses to change along with the ECU, EZK, tach, engine, exhaust, transmission, maybe differential (different ratio?). A person with your skills could certainly do it, but if you have to run to the junk yard for every little piece, the trips and costs would eat you. I would not hestiate to do this IF I had a cheap 960 and the complete (also cheap) donor car. You would need the donor car factory wiring diagrams.
