Ok, I had the car in for a/c system check. This is what I found:

(1)The condenser is leaking something terrible. Needs replacing.

(2) The compressor has a very tiny leak. According to the tech at Polar a/c the leak is so tiny that it should cause no major problem. Says the compressor is one of the best.

(3) There are one are two very tiny leaks at 1 or 2 hose connections, also , reportedly, should cause no major problem.

Here is what Iam proposing to do:

(1) replace the condenser, and the receiver dryer.

(2)Have the system recharged. (freon)

(3) Cruise.

condenser approx $150
receiver dryer <$25
recharge $100(?)

The tech said the compressor is of a high quality, and hes seen them with the kind of leak described go for years. Ditto the other leaks.

Any, and all opinions, advice, feedback etc is welcome.

All opinions on the best places for said parts. (I received a couple of responses on the parts question earlier this week, thanks all.)
