I appreciate your kind comment.
I hope that your nut works smoothly on the end of the cable.
I think it might be easier with the pedal out of the way.
I have sort of a thin open-end wrench that will do it with difficulty.
I mentioned this but will mention it again - there is a plate that bolts
over much of the hole that will prevent you from tightening the big nut,
so taking it off helps a lot.
