Front end squeeks like an old bed 700 1990

This was inner tie rod ends for us. The mechanic confirmed it by touching the tie rod as an assistant bounced the car - the vibration is easy to feel. Cheap, so do both sides and get only one alignment.

Our '87 745 was wrecked at 300,000 km and the original struts, springs, etc were fine. The ball joints, all tie rod ends, and the rack (!!) were all new, the rack being the only expensive thing.
