You were right, Bob, it's the left front torque rod bushing. I can't tell if the bushing itself is worn or damaged, but what has happened is that the bushing has worked its way partially out of the rod housing. The edge of the housing is rubbing on the frame, hence my giant mouse noises.

As replacement is not difficult, I will get the urethane set and do all 4.

Hey Bob, if you're ever around Jacksonville, FL, let me know and you can drive the 285 and see what you think!
