I don't know why, but the back-up light on my car is constantly ON when the lights are on, but not on when the lights are off. (side note: the other light does not work at all). It's independent of the car being in reverse (the one's that's out, doesn't come on when I do put it in reverse). I've cleaned all the contacts, and replaced all the bulbs, but this is the only problem I have yet to fix. (headlight problem was a corroded terminal behind the headlight)

Is there a common fix, or are my wires cross somewhere (any location prone to this?) Any tips or leads would be helpfull.
