boost controllers 700

I want to install a boost controller and if needed gauge on my 1988 740 turbo and wanted to know a few things. If anyone has done this what controller would they recommend? I know of one by turboxs and the dawes device. I might want to remove in the near future though to possibly sell for a newer car but would still want to get it and use on my next car. Is it possible to remove and have the car look and perform stock? Also what gauges will i need for each device to properly dial set it up in my car?
