power bleeder 700 1986

I've never attempted DIY brake cylinder rebuild. I think it's more complicated than just replacing the seals. The cylinder walls could be scored, or there could be other problems.

I've never "bench bled" a M/C although I have heard other people on this site suggest it. After installing the new M/C, I just let all 4 brakes gravity bleed for a while, and then pressure bleed with the brake pedal and my $1 check valve, one caliper (and one bleeder valve) at a time. Seems primitive but I've never had any problems with this method.
