Apparently it doesn't work with real Volvos.
I tried it with the two of mine that I could remember:
1641441008731 (1969 164, carbureted, 4 speed originally, 278K miles)
22244VF44489 (1966 122 wagon, 4 speed originally, 228K miles)
and the page came back the same but with the VIN field blank.

BTW Carfax won't accept these numbers either.
Something about 1981.
