I had the same problem with my plastic headlights. Candles in a winecellar had better lights. Was also forced to buy (used) lights. Changed the original bulbs with white highoutput (100 watts) bulbs made in Korea ($ 10.-- each). Light is acceptable now with no signs of overheating. Plastic lenscovers still show condensation in various weatherconditions. Will definitely consider glass lights at a later date. IPD has some in stock now for less than I saw advertised anywhere but still pricey but worth it. Anybody that had to drive in foul weather with bad lighting can attest to that. If poor lighting caused an accident the cost for the lights would be in no relationship.
