I'd do a quick compression test to see how things look from the piston/ring end of things and also do a quick visual inspection of the air cleaner and air intake components to make sure there isn't excessive crankcase pressure blowing oil back into the air intake.

Isaac, these are quick checks that might rule out some problems.
