So wait a minute... He offered to send you a second set for free, to replace the first set, and you refused, and now you're upset?

Other than distrust, is there any reason you didn't accept that offer? It seems he offered to perform according to your agreement (sending product) and you refused, and then wanted to back out of the deal (get your $ back.)

Seems to me you could be enjoying that second set of braces right now instead of being stuck.
