its almost 11 pm and my reverse lights are stuck on. 200 1983

There is no relay. Power goes in to the switch at the trans, and back out when reverse is selected. Plunger on switch may be stuck. Conector from trans wiring can be found behind the drivers side center console kick panel. 2 wire conector with black plastic insulator. Wires should be blue with yellow stripe.
