Driveline timing?

George is correct. It should be noted that the 700 series (all two piece) drive shafts are balanced as an assembly and there are arrows on bothe pieces which point towards the sliding joint. The arrows must be pointing at each other. The 700 series cars with automatic transmissions have three u-joint drive shafts, while the manual transmission cars since about 1985 have a rubber flex coupling instead of a u-joint at the front of the drive shaft (rear of the transmission).
