Are you sure you are using a single 45 DCOE weber and not the vertical DCD weber ?
If it's the 45 DCOE weber you would better replace it by two DCOE 40 webers.
The single weber DCOE has ALWAYS been a problematic setup because of poor flow distribution between cylinders.
For the exhaust manifold I can recommend the stock twin pipe cast iron B20E/F manifold combined with a Simons downpipe and mufflers (2 1/4 inch I think). A 4/1 rarely gives more power and if it does give a 2-3hp advantage at high rpm you loose a lot of bottem end power. Best is a 4/2/1 setup like the ones KGtrimning offers, they can be had in 3 diameters and will give you a very wide power band.
