Rear Suspension/Drivetrain noises... :(

Ok. What is the best manner to check the u-joints? Friends I have talked to said to move them around and check for play.
Would I have to drop the driveshaft, grandpa and I fully greased the u-joints on the shaft that is in the car.

The center bearing could be shot, the one on the spare driveshaft was ok. It spun pretty good, with little to no noise.

thanks
take care
