To Gap, or not to Gap ? 200 1990

Why, indeed.

Not worth the time to ask (read Napoleon's "Why do people do anything?").

I usually start at around .28 to .30, never more than .30 though. My logic is, the gap always gets bigger not smaller. The one good thing is, it didn't harm the engine.

I just removed a set of plugs that were at about .80 (from a Volvo).
