Help with cable Odometer 200 1983

There is a small white worm gear on a shaft in the odometer section. I can almost guarantee you that this is cracked lengthwise. Use epoxy or superglue, but carefully, to glue the thing back together and onto the shaft. This is microsurgery, but I have done this on 3 different vehicles. It works every time. make sure that the thing is lubed up well before putting it back together.
