When I had a slight sunroof mishap (it landed on the highway, only to be driven over by a cop).. I went looking for a sunroof. I like the Richmond Pick'n'Pull, but as others have stated the cars you find at a self service yards are pretty beat up (still looking for a silver sunroof and some silver doors). I ended up buying a roof and everything else associated with the sunroof (headliner, brackets, cables, rails, nuts and bolts, etc) except for the felt seals for $100 from Faraudo's Auto Dismantling in Santa Rosa (www.faraudo.com).

If the dealer price scares you, find a better dealer. Some local dealers have been known to offer 20% discounts (a VCOA membership might help).
