door handles

I have an intermittent problem with the doors not opening on my 744T. IF the car is unlocked sometimes the driver door will open normally and sometimes i will squeeze the handle and lever and it just moves with out popping the door latch. When this happens I just continue to try and eventually it works. Just wondering if anyone knows a fix for this annoying problem. THanks in advance
