What is 'Central Electrical Unit ' on a 740 ? 700 1989

Yes, the Central Electrical Unit is the tray which contains the fuse block and relay bases. Try this, http://www.brickboard.com/FAQ/700-900/ElectricalCircuitsRelays.htm#RelayLocations. I would clean all of the ground connections in the CEU, and under it.
