Page 21 of June's Car and Driver mag tells the tale of what a few people on this board found out too late: Dexcool is only compatible with cars that were designed for it, i.e. newer cars. The lesson of the article? If your car first had green antifreeze in it, stick with green antifreeze. I'm glad I never went to Dexcool (which seems so damned cool...).
