Leanness.
I've had problems with some of the smaller fuel passages in DCOEs getting clogged. The problem often shows up as inabilty to change the idle mixture on one of the barrels.
I pulled all the jets and the external plugs and blew all the passages out with compressed air, and then checked with carb cleaner.
