V 90 - Oxygen sensor replacement S90-V90 1998

Good Morning,

I have 149K on my V90, and it runs very well, and doesn't have any check engine light issues, but I was wondering if a new O2 sensor would be a good idea at this mileage. Bosch (I think)is running radio ads that I just heard this morning, wherein they claim that a new sensor may increase mileage to the tune of 10% to 15%. What do they cost, and where do you screw it in? Does it go into the exhaust pipe just downstream from the header? Tell me if you think I should replace it since I do most of the "easy" service.

Thanks, Mike
