OMG!!! 1800

Doug,

The market for 1800ES (wagon type) and the 1800S (two door) cars has never really caught on in the collector world, so the prices reflect that. A daily driver in good condition would be in the $6,000 dollar range with the really clean cars in the $8,000 - $10,000 range. I think the 1800 series is one of the best kept secrets in the automotive world.

In December of 2000 I paid $3,000 for a 1966 1800S with 96,000 original miles, zero rust or body damage that had been is storage from the mid 1980's until I bought it in 2000 (17 years or so). I acually feel that I overpaid for the car when you consider the amount of work required to get it cleaned up and back on the road. I do enjoy driving it every day, and it always turns heads...

For any price over $6,000 the car should be in really good condition inside and out with absolutly NO rust anywhere.

Hope this helps. Good luck with your quest to own a really great car....

Oliver
