Shaving Head to Increase CR on a B230FT ?

Milling the head will increase power, but it won't do anything for the turbo lag. It will also make it difficult for you to run much more than stock boost, and would probably result in detonation ('pinging') under full boost conditions. The compression ratio of the turbo motors is purposely lower than that of the n/a motors for this reason.

You have a non-interference engine, and no amount of 'shaving' will change that. ;-)
