Block heater for b230ft

I have installed them on a B 21, i.e., essentially the same block. I believe the reason for the rear installation is clearance for the heating element. The distributor also was located where the front freeze plug resides. You could try it and if clearance is inadequate, just install a new freeze plug. This generally consists of doping the freeze plug with a little gasket stuff by Permatex such as their No l, which I do not believe is available. The aircraft grade would also most likely do. Just be sure the plug hole is clear and smooth.

Good luck,

dick
