Engine running rough, need advice 200 1984

Pull one spark plug wire at a time with engine running. Observe for no change in rpm or little change. If and when you do get a no change in rpm condition you have isolated the cylinder or cylinders having problems and you can concentrate in that area. Could be bad sparkplug, wire, etc. If everything is sound then next is a compression test.
