Redline MT-90 in an M46?

Redline MT-90 is advertised as a suitable lubricant for manual transmissions that can use 10w40 motor oil. The owner's guide (85 240) suggests that 10w40 can be used in this transmission in climates where the temperature does not drop below 14F. So, is the MT-90 product acceptable for use in an M46? I'm worried about what it might do to the overdrive.
