hope somebody finds this helpfull. With replacement part in hand, It took me a day to figure out that the best way to attack this job was to lay on top of the engine. Reaching over the fender was just about impossible. With engine cold, I set an old patio chaise pad on top of the motor and WOW, I could see EVERYTHING! Unable to find my 19mm wrench, I had made the trip to Sears and bought a new, long Professional Craftsman polished 19mm wrench. After easily breaking the old ECT loose, I was able to spin it out by hand and remove it. I then threaded the new ECT in place then attempted to tighten it. After less than a 1/4 turn, I found that my new wrench was TOO LONG, and it hit the valve for coolant to the heater core. Another trip to Sears for a cheaper 19mm wrench and TAA DAA! replacement done. Top Off coolant, runs great again. Wife Happy.
