AC switch question 700

The safest assumption is that the switch is OK and the system is truely low on freon. You wouldn't want to take the chance of bypassing the switch and forcing the compressor to run, only to find out later that it was really low on freon and risk damaging the compressor. In two years, it's quite possible it could have leaked enough freon to be causing the switch to trip.
