oil leak from bottom half of engine. What could it be?

Need help!
Just bought a 90 740 ti sedan w/100k on it. Its solid but it has a small oil leak some where on the bottom half of the engine. Its not coming from the drain plug either. Its more like from the rear half but in front of the oil pan. Possible oil pan gasket? Its dripping off the front cross member. Please help!!
