Floating Ignition timing 200 1983

Wow, sounds just like my problem, except my idle surges rythmically and quicker (every 2 sec) and only after engine warms up. I have had very little success with this problem and am at the stage of trying to find a known good ECU and Ignition computer. My other suspect is Fuel Pressure regulator have you checked fuel pressure at the rail? Mine is B230F LH2.2. I just was quoted $350 Australian for one but I think they are full of SH&$, try fcpgroton.
