WOW! 120-130 1967

Why would anybody do all that and then sell the car?

I recognize that the work may have cost that much but I wouldn't pay
$14K for a 122 (or probably any other car!). BTW I have been driving
Amazons of various vintages since 1970.

I have some reservations about structural adhesives also. While the point
is made that there aren't structural welds in a 747, I would have to say
that isn't wholly true, especially in the engines. Admittedly there are not
in the aluminum parts because high-strength aluminum alloys are not weldable.
The same is NOT true of the alloys in both frame and body of the 123GT.
To me (a professional metallurgical engineer) welding of body parts and
also of frame parts is indeed the repair of choice. There are PLENTY of
welds in its original fabrication.

Yes, it is a VERY nice car. It might be worth $14K to some, but not to me.
