D-jet fuel pump interchangability 1951

The Bosch part number is 0 580 464 048,
I got it from thepartsbin.com. Their price was so much cheaper than everywhere else that I bought a wad of other things while I was at it. Anyway, the outlet is between the terminals. I have more information that I'm writing up now, but this and the other things solved a lot of intermittent issues I'd been having with the 122.

Chris, none of the old injected Volvos had a surge tank, just some internal baffling. I was drawn to this pump because it was Bosch and not some no-name Napa pump, because I've heard BMW owners talk about its longevity, and because I was absolutely certain it would deliver the necessary pressure. I have a habit of going cheap, only to have to re-do it later. Rather than take a chance here, I just went the whole hog (or something like that...)
