You also might check the switch, under the button on the gearshift. Just pop it out, disconnect the wire and replace it with a new one. They are not too expensive. I got mine from IPD. My '89 745 was kicking in and out of OD, sometimes it would work, sometimes not. Fixed it up real nice.
