no insturments are working 700 1989

ive got a pretty big problem none of my insturments are working this includes the fuel, temp, voltage, and tach and spedo. this happend one time i was driveing down the road and turned on my headlights then all of a sudden out went everything i did take out the insturment cluster and found a broken part of the cucit board where it looked like it fried so i tried jumping that with a wire big mistake smoke and stuff like that so i think that it is the voltage regulator going to the spedo but where is that any help would be great thanks
