Of course if you leaked dye at the point of filling you will see it glow. You should clean and wipe off that entire area, check with the light before starting AC so you have a point of reference.
During a conversion there is normally a new low side filler valve installed with the new accumulator so not sure why you installed new valves at compressor. Did you use the Volvo kit, drain the compressor of oil, vacume down, check for leaks or just slam in some R134 and change the valves? You may need to hook up guage set to see the problem. Did you jump the pressure sensor itself or the connector to it?
