Remote Starter Switch Connection? 200 1985

There is a single wire with a female spade terminal sticking out of the wire harness at the firewall, just behind the dipstick. 3 or 4"long with a plastic insulator. This is the remote starter hookup. Most remote starter tools are simply a pushbutton switch with 2 leads. Conect 1 to battery positive, the other to the remote starter conection. Push the button, starter operates.
