"How often do you see a 262 GL?"

More good trivia. The standard roof 262 was only available for two model years, 1976-77. It appears from the figures that I have that they were ONLY available in GL trim.

The standard-roof 262 is actually the rarest 200 series car:

MY 1976: 3099
MY 1977: 230

No single engine/year/body configuration is more rare than the '77 262.

I, too, have only ever seen one.

Never legally imported into the US.

Another rare beast. IIRC, the no vinyl 262C was only available for MY 1981. Total production, 912 units.
