ZF to AW conversion/crank gear update. Thanks all.

Ok, it was the crank gear. The little knob had broke off. Luckily the local "you pull it" was full of em. I got two. 8.00 ea.

Trannys in. My supplier was correct about the kickdown cable. Hooked up, it didnt shift right. I disconnected it, everything smoothed out. Shifts through all gears, overdrive, and the converter locks up right on time. Runs good.

I thought I saw a little leak at the tail shaft housing before running, but after a hard run, I dont see anything leaking.

Bell housing bolts: We disconnected the driveline, undid the rear tranny support, then dropped the tranny down in back. It gave us a clean shot at the bell housing bolts using 1/2 inch extensions and socket. This just about put those bolts in the "no problem" catagory. worked like a charm.

THanks to one and all! Your support is priceless!

Enjoy the holiday.

Lawrence
