open/closed crankcase ventilation? 1800

You didn't put the year model of your car in the appropriate box,
so it's hard to tell if the car should or should not have the PCV
system. On a worn engine it can be more of a curse than a blessing,
however. Maybe you should get a new shift boot to keep the fumes
under the car!

By all means you can install a later crankcase ventilation system.
I suggest you look at a later model 1800 or amazon to see how it is
piped. One hands-on experience is worth a thousand pictures, each of
which is worth a thousand words.

Normal compression will be 130/140 psi or around 9 bar (if I calculate
correctly - trust the psi!)
