Which volvo would you buy if you were me - $10,000

Agree with Ronald. My first thoughts were a good paint job, and far less than $10K in upgrading. I just redid my entire suspension for $500 from FCP Groton. Relocating flame trap from IPD $30.

A great many of the posts seem geared to 200/700 vehicles. Great source of info.

FWIW, if you can due w/o the brick for a few days, Chesterfield Body Shop, 16600 Jefferson Davis Highway, Chesterfield VA, 804.520.9676 does a tremendous job on older cars at a very erasonable price. (No $ or personal connections, just have seen their work. QUALITY!!) I've seen them sand and paint, and I've seen them strip to bare metal and prep as if new. Depends on the need. They are honest. They do all the county and and state police cars for this area.
