2 bolts? What are you talking about? Oh, you are talking about 740, aren't you?
The 240 is not much worse. 4 bolts on the top, 3 bolts on the bottom. You may have some difficulty separating the ball joint from the upper mount. I had to cut off all of the rubber boot to get a pair of vise grips to hold onto the ball joint while I removed the main nut. Re-assembly is easier because the ball joint won't rotate so much (it will be tighter).
Try to get the whole front end off the ground when you do this job, so you can turn the steering wheel and rotate the assembly for clearance.
I would recommend using new bolts for the upper ball joint mount to the strut tube. They are cheap from the dealer, and they come with thread-locker applied.
