I have the same insurance and experienced the same predicament. You will turn over the title when you receive a check in person with state farm. It is their car now. If you remove anything afterward without some negoitation could place you in the position of destruction of property. Ask for more money after the first offer by stating that you put new tires on in the last month along with anything else you can dream up. I did the same and got 500us extra and wasn't completely truthful. They tried to screw us. They did not ask to see receipts, it was done over the phone.
