Rust issues

i live in the uk...we see a fair bit of wet/snow/salt and the only bricks i have seen with rot its always around the bottom of the doors..I think because people dont clean the drain holes out (so the doors rot from the inside..

but from experience th best prevention i know of is to was the salt and mud off with a hose regularly!

as to treatments waxoil never hurt sprayed into all the sections and on the underside..apply librally..and prepair for puddles everytime you park..for a while.

only apply it to a DRY CLEAN car though...
