Thanks again! After talking to John L and seeing what was in that yard, there is more I want to get. :)

"To store the engine I would remove the spark plugs and pour an ounce of oil in each cylinder, then rotate the crankshaft at least four times. Then seal the exhaust ports with a either a capped exhaust manifold or something which will bolt across the exhaust manifold studs. Seal the throttle body. Store the engine upright in a dry environment and rotate the crankshaft to a new position every few months. At one time I had some plastic pieces, filled with dessicant, which replaced the spark plugs in an aviation engine and kept the moisture out of the cylinders. Old cylinder bores which are broken in and thoroughly glazed don't have much tendency to rust, but new bores will rust easily.

You could also remove the cam to allow all the valves to close and seal the cylnders after adding oil. "

Good plan. I didnt think about using plastic pieces to seal the exhaust and TB! thanks
