engine stabilizer 1800 1972

I stuck one on my '65 1800...mainly because my headers were in conflict with the upper A-arm, and the stabilizer pushed the motor over just enough that all was clear.

But...I was real happy with it in there. Tightened every thing up enough that I was actually able to (barely) chirp the tires into 3rd. I also expect it will make the regular motor mounts last longer.

I would think that if you do a lot of performance type driving...both dropping the clutch, and fast corners, you would do well to install one.

But...I would also watch for it tearing through the fender wall... Hasn't been a problem on my car, but I expect someday it will be.
